The Sharing Shelf is a free resource for nonprofits, schools, and government agencies in Westchester County who work with low-income children and teens, from birth to age 19.
Our sole standard is – would the child or teen you are working with – as a student, client, or child of a client – benefit from free clothing, a winter coat, a pack of diapers, toiletries or period products because of economic hardship.
For those working with low-income children and teens, use the link below to place a clothing request.
We do not accept requests directly from families or individuals.
For individuals in need of assistance, check our list of agencies and schools or email info@sharingshelf.org and we will help connect you with one of our community partners. If your child attends school, including Head Start, provide us with the school name, your child’s grade, and the town or city.
