Every summer, we follow an annual tradition: our Clothing Bank transforms into a Backpack Factory. We rent a storage pod, clear out the space, and spend two weeks assembling and distributing thousands of backpacks filled with school supplies. Once the backpacks leave the building, it’s time to reverse the flow—unload the pod and restart clothing operations.
This year, we were grateful to welcome back Venture Together, an organization from Rockland County that provides care and employment training to individuals with special needs. For the second year in a row, their team brought professionalism, reliability, and boundless enthusiasm to the task of putting our Clothing Bank back together.
Together, they lifted more than 150 bags of donated clothing and loaded 200 boxes of new apparel destined for one of our community partners.
Whew—we couldn’t have done it without them!
