Every child we serve receives new socks in their Wardrobe Pack, and teens shopping in the Teen Boutique can choose socks that fit their needs and style. Socks are a daily essential, especially on these cold winter days, and something every child needs. To meet that need, we purchase more than 25,000 pairs of socks each year.
Donations of new socks are critical. They allow us to stretch our resources and dedicate funds to other essential items.
Our new friends at Khalsa Aid once again demonstrated their commitment to our mission by reaching out with a simple but powerful question: What do you need most right now?
Our answer was immediate – socks in small sizes for both boys and girls. The response was swift and generous. Within a week, boxes arrived filled with high-quality socks. Because of Khalsa Aid’s thoughtfulness, 392 children will have warm feet this winter, each receiving five new pairs—for a total of 1,960 pairs of socks.
