Join forces with the Westchester Library System and The Sharing Shelf to commemorate Earth Day and Denim Day by contributing your new and gently worn jeans. Look out for drop boxes at your nearest participating library, and donate your denim to support The Sharing Shelf’s mission of addressing clothing insecurity in our community.

In 2023, The Sharing Shelf made a significant impact by distributing over 20,000 pairs of pants to more than 5,500 children and teens across the county. Your denim donations will play a vital role in helping us meet this growing need and continue supporting our community.

Here are a few locations where you can find drop boxes for denim donations:

  • Dobbs Ferry Public Library
  • Hastings-on-Hudson Public Library
  • Harrison Public Library
  • John C. Hart Memorial Library (Yorktown)
  • Larchmont Public Library
  • Lewisboro Library
  • New Rochelle Public Library
  • North Castle – North White Plains Library
  • Pound Ridge Library District
  • White Plains Public Library
  • Westchester Library System Headquarters

Participating libraries will have these boxes available from now until the end of April.
