This month we proudly and loudly honor Mindy Chopra as our volunteer of the month.
Mindy was the driving force behind our Mamaroneck Teen Boutique, an event that took place because she stepped in when our original planning partner had to step back. Mindy tapped her network and quickly secured a site for the event. She then set to work organizing a collection drive for the underwear, toiletries, and clothing we needed. She recruited volunteers to move the clothing from The Sharing Shelf to Mamaroneck and to run Teen Boutique.
Mindy was personally on hand every minute of our event – from set-up to the return of clothing to our warehouse that afternoon.
She is a powerhouse and we are grateful to have her on our volunteer team.
