At The Sharing Shelf, we complement donations of gently used clothing with new items, some donated and some purchased.
One of our amazing partners is Delivering Good, a nonprofit that connects organizations like The Sharing Shelf with brand-new overflow clothing and accessories from the apparel industry. The boxes land on our loading dock and our team opens each one with joy and wonder to see the goodies that have arrived for the children we serve.
In January, we were thrilled to receive six boxes of Ivory Ella donations . Inside were shirts, sweatshirts, pajamas, fuzzy socks, beach and picnic blankets, towels, and other cozy, cheerful items that will be well loved.
Ivory Ella is a sustainable company that donates 10% of its profits to organizations such as Save the Elephants, making this gift even more meaningful.
