Mark Santia of NBC 4 New York stopped by our warehouse to learn more about the planned steps we are taking as we begin to resume accepting clothing donations. With demand for clothing support continuing to rise, reopening this part of our operation is essential but doing so safely is our top priority.
During his visit, we walked Mark through the extensive health and safety measures we have put in place to protect our volunteers, staff, and the children and teens who will ultimately receive these donations. This includes new donation intake procedures, enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols, modified volunteer shifts to allow for distancing, and additional training to ensure everyone on site can work confidently and safely.
