Spread the joy of the giving season with a child or teen.
We have a list of more than 250 children in need a gift this holiday season from 5 programs – the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau, the Theodore D. Young Community Center, Family Services of Westchester, White Plains Youth Bureau, and Port Chester Community Gardens.
We are asking volunteers to purchase a gift for a specific child valued between $20 – $25. For teens, please consider buying a gift card to Target, Kohl’s or a Visa/Mastercard/Amex gift card. We are discouraging Amazon gift cards as most families we serve cannot use Amazon and do not have Amazon Prime or a credit card. Gifts are due by December 11, 2023.
Gifts should be UNWRAPPED but please consider donating a gift bag, ribbon and/or wrapping paper. Volunteers will be needed December 11 – 18, 2023 to wrap gifts and help with distribution.
