The Sharing Shelf’s annual Sock-tober sock drive was a tremendous success, with over 3,200 socks collected for children in need across Westchester.
A big thank you to IBM for once again leading the way, along with other generous supporters including Westchester Human Resource Management Association, New York-Presbyterian School of Health Sciences, Iona Prep, the German International School New York, the Gap store in Nanuet, Khalsa Aid USA, Westchester Country Club and Life Thru Hoops Cares who helped make this possible.
Despite this outpouring of support, the need remains high. More than 800 children are currently waiting for winter clothing, which means we need 4,000 more socks just to meet current demand and to provide every child with a fresh set to keep them warm. With your continued support, we can close this gap and keep children comfortable and confident. Every sock counts!

- Donate new socks – we need all sizes, from infant through adult and prefer athletic styles socks for youth and teens.
