Suburban Pest Control’s annual family picnic at Tibbetts Brook Park took on special meaning this year as employees, families, and vendor partners teamed up with the Junior League of Central Westchester for a community diaper drive benefiting The Sharing Shelf.
“Community is at the heart of everything we do,” said Ken Unger, president of Suburban Pest Control. That spirit of giving showed as each attending family contributed diapers and wipes, joined by donations from partners including Catch Master Pro, Target Specialty, Veseris, MGK, and Haran Printers.
Together, the group collected 2,489 diapers and 2,568 wipes for local children and families in need. “Seeing our team and partners rally behind this cause was incredible,” added Dan McArdle, vice president of operations. “It’s a reminder that even small acts can make a big difference when a community comes together.”
